Attention! Registration is now possible and we are cordially inviting you to submit a membership declaration form to become a member of the Polish Society for Probiotics and Prebiotics! Precise, step by step information how to become an ordinary member of the Society may be found below:
A. The membership fees are as follows:
* The membership fees are due to be paid until the end of the first quarter of the calendar year via bank transfer to the given account;
and in case of a member being accepted later on in the calendar year - the fees are due 30 days after a person is accepted as a member of the
Society. Please visit the
National Bank of Poland website for current exchange rates.
B. To become a member, please follow the procedure:
C. Who may become an ordinary member of the Society?
The ordinary member may be a founding member or ≥ 18 years-old Polish citizen, whos professional career is directly related to the studies
and the use of probiotics and prebiotics and who received a recommendation from two existing members of the Society. A non-Polish citizen,
≥ 18 years-old, may also become a member of the Society. The decision of acceptance of the membership lies in the hands of the Board of Directors
of the Polish Society for Probiotics and Prebiotics.
D. Ordinary member has the right to:
a) participate in general assemblies with a decisive vote,
b) actively and passively elect the authorities of the Society,
c) participate in the actions of the Society according to the rules and regulations of its authorities,
d) make use of all the apparatus of the Society according to the set rules,
e) wear the Society's logo,
f) raise postulates and put motions forward to the authorities of the Society.
E. Ordinary member is obliged to:
a) abide by the Society's bylaws, rules and regulations of authorities of the Society,
b) actively participate in the fulfilment of the aims found in the bylaws of the Society,
c) regularly pay member's fee and other fees and amounts due, as described in the bylaws of the Society as well as in the rules and regulations decided upon
by the authorities of the Society.
