Travel by plane: Cracow (in Polish: Krakow) has an airport located about 10 km from the city centre in Balice called John Paul II's Airport (international abbreviation: KRK). Getting to the city centre is easy: by bus (cheapest), train (intermediate) or taxi (most expensive-around 50 PLN). If you happen to land in Warsaw, the capital of Poland 300 km away, you may catch a direct flight to Cracow or take an express train ride of 3h to Cracow's city centre.

Travel by train or bus: The city has a well developed railway and bus infrastructure, including international connections, with the main station in Cracow's city centre.

Travel by car: The city has many car parks available where one can safely park their vehicle, esp. close to hotels. Main Square and surroundings are a no drive zone which is readily enforced, so walking is encouraged. It may be difficult to park a car on a street in the centre and there are parking meters where one has to pay for parking. Petrol cost is approximately 5-6 PLN/litre.

Stay in Cracow
